Panasonic
will reorganize the group organization and establish nine business
domains and one marketing division according to different business
models in January, 2012. Followed by the reorganization, Panasonic
Healthcare Co., Ltd.
announces the details of the organization of healthcare business domain.
Firstly,
Healthcare Company will be established as a new business domain company
in January,
2012. Panasonic Healthcare Co., Ltd. ("PHC", Kenji Yamane,
President) , the businesses of Biomedical Division and Medicom Division
of SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. ("SANYO”, Seiichiro Sano, President),
the
elderly care business of Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. and
Panasonic Nursing Care Service Co., Ltd.
will be affiliated with the Company.
Furthermore,
the
businesses of Biomedical Division and Medicom Division of SANYO will be
integrated by law into PHC through company split in April, 2012 as
announced on
August
31, 2011
.
In
the new framework for Panasonic group that we announce today, the
healthcare business domain will pursue our synergy by integrating these
businesses and collaborating technologies, manufacturing know-how and
sales channels in order to strengthen our healthcare business as a
growth business for next generation.
