SANYO have recently
launched an enhanced range of Laboratory Cooled Incubators.
Building upon the
success of the MIR-153 range, the new MIR-154 and MIR-254 provide more
features for additional applications. In addition to the fluorescent
lighting previously featured, the new incubators have the option of
additional lighting plus the ability for the lighting to be programmed to
suit many applications e.g. Plant Growth Studies. Biological Oxygen Demand
(BOD) tests and the growth of fruit flies can also be performed in these
incubators in addition to the more traditional applications.
The new incubators also
features a large LCD display which in addition to showing current data
will also show up to the previous two weeks performance data. A new air
circulation system is used to reduce the drying out of media and to
provide optimum temperature distribution. Temperature ranges have been
increase to now cover the range -10C to +60C. The MIR-154 (123L capacity)
model is also stackable with the optional stacking kit. The MIR-254 has a
capacity of 238L.
